Best Yoga Tips For The Fall
We say goodbye to summer and a new stage of renewal is approaching: autumn. The leaves of the trees are beginning to fall, nature is preparing for its hibernation and this is your best time to say goodbye to old habits, routines and start this new season in the best possible way! Having the possibility of reinventing yourself day by day is something magical and for which we should be grateful. Leave behind the past, what was not meant to be and what is stopping you from moving forward.
Autumn is the one that receives winter, and for this reason we must start preparing our body for the cold. We recommend that at this season of the year you choose practices that stimulate and benefit your lungs and help strengthen the immune system in order to avoid any type of flu, cold or possible allergy. Also keep in mind to practice postures that help you relax and tone the large intestine, to get rid of toxins and waste that your body does not need. If you went a little overboard this summer and you’re feeling guilty about it, don’t worry! You are in time to go back to your healthy lifestyle, get a good amount of sleep and take care of yourself.

Side Stretches
It is important in autumn to practice positions that facilitate lung ventilation. For this, lateral stretches are ideal, as they open the sides of your body and work with your lungs. Sun Salutation
The sun salutation pose is ideal to practice in this season of the year, when we begin to feel the cold. It helps bring warmth to our body and energy to our soul.
Twists
The postures that involve twisting are perfect for toning the large intestine and thus helping it to be healthy. Some twisting postures that can be practiced are: Parivrtta Trikonasana (revolved triangle pose) or Pasasana Ardha Matsyendrasana (half spinal twist).
Facing down
This facing down posture helps you strengthen your arms and legs, stretching your back and the back of your legs. This posture is ideal to help combat stress. Adho Mukha Svanasana (downward facing dog pose).
Back extensions
This one called Setu Bandhasana or bridge pose, is one of the best back extensions. Backbends or back extensions are great for gaining back the energy that we’re missing this season.
